Wouldn't it be great if there was a natural remedy for weight loss, arthritis, cancer, bloating and indigestion, acne, cough, bad breath, and high cholesterol? What if I told you there was a natural remedy for all of these, and it came by combining two simple household ingredients you probably currently have in your kitchen? This sounds too good to be true, but I can assure you it isn't.
This remedy is a simple combination of natural cinnamon and pure honey. Before I tell you how this is possible, let me start by making sure you have the right ingredients to make this work.
When it comes to cinnamon, not all grocery store varieties are created equal. The type of cinnamon you want to use is called Ceylon. Some types of cinnamon contain Coumarin, which has been known to cause kidney and liver damage, so make sure you read the bottle and get the right type. Also make sure you get plain cinnamon that doesn't have any added sugar.
Select 100% pure, raw honey that has no other added ingredients, and that has never been heated. This is the type of honey that will be the most natural and the most beneficial.
Making the Mixture
Mix 1/2 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon to 1 cup hot water. Mix well and let cool completely. Add 1 teaspoon of honey and mix until dissolved.
You can use this mixture first thing in the morning to rev up your digestion system and metabolism to burn more calories. Drink this in between meals when you feel like snacking. Increase the functionality of the digestive system, helping to decrease bloating and indigestion. Take at few tablespoons of honey, sprinkled with cinnamon before you eat for best results.
Honey is anti-bacterial and cinnamon is anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory. These together can help clean and oxidize your skin to prevent acne. Combine these into a paste and rub generally on your face, or on selecte areas.
This combination clears the phlegm from your chest, and coats your throat to relieve the scratchy feeling, which causes you to cough.
