Hotel Room Chest Workout

These exercises are perfect for anyone looking to maintain their workout schedule while traveling. Just because you are away on business or vacation, your chest still needs attention. The exercises found here require only things commonly found in hotel rooms. You might even like these exercises so much that you will incorporate them into your home routine.
  • Hotel Room Chest Workout

    1 Chair Push-ups
    • Set-up a stable chair in front of you, up against a wall.
    • Position your body in a normal push-up position with the exception of your hands which are on the chair instead of on the ground.
    • When you lower your body towards your hands, extend your decline slightly lower than the typical push-up motion.
    • Return to original position.
    • Complete 3 sets of 12.
    2 Diamond Push-up
    • Get into traditional pushup position, but place your hands directly under your chest with your index fingers and thumbs spread and touching; making a diamond.
    • Keep your back flat throughout the movement. Lower your body until your chest nearly touches your hands.
    • Pause, then push your body back up to the starting position.
    3 Elevated Push-up
    • Start by placing your knees (for modified) or toes and hands (directly, under shoulders) on the bed, while keeping your back straight. Next, lower your chest to the bed, then return to starting position. Perform as many reps as possible.
